Farm-to-market road 2458 is located on State Hwy 84, approximately 30 miles NE of Snyder, Texas, and 15 miles SE of Post, Texas.

Turn East onto FM 2458 for approximately 2.5 miles.

FM 2458 turns north at this point, continue east on FM 3519 for another 3.0 miles approximately

The entrance to the Sam Wahl Recreation Area will be on the right (or east) side of the FM 3519, look for the "Public Boat Ramp" sign.
